Like every other college student studying abroad, I started a blog because I wanted to record my adventures and let my mom know that I’m doing okay.
Unlike every other college student, I also made a goal. This semester isn’t going to be about getting closer with the other kids from my university. It’s going to be about meeting the locals. Every day, I try to meet one New Zealander and write about them.

In real life, I’m a journalism student at the University of Southern California.
